A Downtown Mobile Engagement Session

I kicked off December with a week-long vacation. As you can imagine, planning time away during the holiday season is not easy. Plus, this time of year is crazy busy for photographers! But time away for rest is always good for the soul and I’m back in my office this week feeling refreshed and energized for the end of busy season. I will have to share more about my vacation in a future post (even though I didn’t take many big camera photos during my time away)!

Right before I headed out of town, I met up with Annie and Christopher for their engagement session. Christopher is in the Air Force and Annie lives in Texas, so it was tricky to align our schedules. I’m so glad we were able to find a day that worked for all of us to be in town because I just love getting to spend time with my brides and grooms ahead of wedding day. I love getting to know them as a couple.

After this engagement session I know I’m going to have so much fun working with Annie and Christopher on wedding day. They are just so sweet and easy-going! Their Christmas season wedding will be my final wedding for 2019! I can’t even believe I’m typing those words! In many ways it feels like the year just started. Anyone else with me on that?!

Annie, Christopher and I met up in downtown Mobile for their engagement session and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. Since they’re having a December wedding, we made sure to get some photos with the city’s Christmas tree. I just love how they turned out! It totally got me in the Christmas spirit!
