Hello there! I'm Elizabeth Gelineau and I love working with businesses and entrepreneurs to tell brand stories. My commercial and editorial experience includes food, environmental portraits, fashion, and interiors. I have contributed to several print and online publications, creating over 20 magazine covers for Mobile Bay Magazine and photographing celebrities like chef John Besh, Donald Trump, Laura Bush and nationally syndicated home improvement personality Danny Lipford. I would love to help you create custom photography for your brand!

food photography

I offer custom food photography for restaurants and food bloggers, as well as bakeries, pubs and other food-based businesses. I've photographed food both on location and in the studio, working with both home cooks and professional chefs. Food photography sessions can also incorporate headshots and interior portraits, depending on your unique needs.

Product photography can range from styled photographs that are designed to elevate your brand, to simplified photographs of your products on a neutral background. I am available to assist with styling on these sessions and lend my knowledge of how to maximize one product shoot for multiple uses across all your social media channels.

Are you the team member with the circle in place of their face on Skype calls? Is a dark and grainy cell-phone picture your profile picture on your website and LinkedIn? If so, you are likely in need of an updated headshot! Headshot sessions typically take place on location for the individual client, or in company offices for larger businesses. My traveling studio setup is portable and easily set up for groups of 5 or more people.

If you're an interior designer, or contractor who needs to show off your work, or you have an amazing space that is part of your brand identity, then interior photography is for you! My style of photographing interiors is editorial, with an emphasis on both overall room shots and details. I use natural light whenever possible, but will bring in lighting if needed.

Lifestyle imagery

Lifestyle sessions incorporate your personality and what you do into photographs that help your customers get to further know your brand. Depending on what your business does, you may have varying needs for this type of imagery throughout the year. Lifestyle sessions always include a discovery call so that I can help define what it is you want to communicate about your brand through your images.

Event photography is ideal for the business that is planning a launch event, an annual team retreat, or a holiday party. Event coverage is available based on the number of hours needed for the event. A minimum of two hours of coverage is required for all commercial events.

I absolutely love working on editorial assignments! The majority of my editorial portfolio is focused on food and portrait photography. Additional experience includes photographing interiors, exteriors, and travel stories. I've been fortunate to have photographed a diverse selection of stories over the past five years and am always up for new adventures!

Basic Styling Direction Available on Every Session

What is Styling?
Styling is the art of arranging the elements in a photograph so that they look best on camera. I provide light styling on all branding sessions as part of the photographic process. If your project requires more than basic styling, a styling plan may be added to any session. Styling plans may include ongoing advisement on curating props for telling your brand story, coaching for taking your own social media images, and collaboration with your web or graphic designer. Styling plans are available beginning at $325 if needed.

I've been wanting to work with Elizabeth since the first day I saw her beautiful photos! She was the perfect option to travel with me and my team to Pensacola to photograph for a whole day revolving around my business and a new product launch. Weeks in advance, Elizabeth outlined how the whole day would go with so much detail. I was so impressed! Then the day of the shoot she helped lay out each shot to perfection. She definitely knows how to create the best product from start to finish!

The Mitchell College of Business absolutely LOVES working with Elizabeth! Her work is outstanding and she makes the students feel at ease as soon as she meets them. We have worked with her for over three years and have enjoyed every minute. Elizabeth does a wonderful job at catching the vibrant life South has to offer and takes a genuine interest in our students. Her passion really shows in her work!

Elizabeth’s talent in capturing the perfect picture is quite a gift. Not only is she a pleasure to work with (and fabulous with kids!), she has the ability to photograph food so that you can practically taste and smell the flavors. She’s a perfectionist, taking her time to get the perfect shot, all while visually having the artistic eye to make it professional and fit within the feel of the brand.

kind words

When we launched our new brand we knew that professional headshots and branding images would play a very important role in our marketing and online presence. As photographers ourselves, we knew that we wouldn’t be happy with just anyone for this job - we needed the BEST! Elizabeth was just that! She perfectly captured our personalities as individuals as well as the feel of our brand. She made us feel so comfortable at our shoot. She listened to our vision and our images came out even better than we imagined! Elizabeth is kind, bubbly, thorough, professional, and amazingly talented. We have so much amazing content to use! If you’re looking to elevate your brand with new photos, we 100% recommend Elizabeth Gelineau!

Each branding session includes a discovery call. This call is scheduled between booking and your shoot date, preferably far enough in advance to give you enough time to take the notes from our call and prepare for the shoot. Branding sessions include a shoot plan, which will outline how much time will be allotted for each portion of the shoot.

shoot day

I typically arrive about 30 minutes before our designated start time in order to unload, set up equipment and review any last minute changes that may need to be made to the shoot plan. If we plan to shoot outside and Mother Nature doesn't cooperate with us, I will do my best to work in a new shoot date as close to the original one as possible.

cheers to delivery day

Your online gallery of images will be delivered within three weeks of your session. These files are high resolution and ready for sharing right away. For headshot sessions involving more than one person, a proofing gallery is sent within one week of your session and one image per person photographed will be retouched. For headshot sessions for individuals, three images of your choice are retouched for you.

The first step to booking is setting up a consultation call. During this 30 minute call we will discuss the needs for your session and I will recommend hours of coverage based on your goals for your shoot.

Because all branding sessions are unique, I don't guarantee a specific number of images. Galleries can range from 25 high resolution files for a two hour shoot, to 100+ for an all-day shoot. For headshot sessions, there are typically three shots per subject delivered in the proofing gallery.

If we are planning to shoot outdoors, and there is rain in the forecast, I will typically make a weather call two hours prior to your session. If we are shooting indoors, we'll likely be able to proceed as planned, as long as natural light isn't a requirement for your particular session.

Thank you so much for contacting me for a branding session! If you're uncertain about how much coverage you need and what variety of images you want to create, please contact me for a consultation. I am happy to help you pinpoint a direction for photography via a complimentary consultation!
