A Studio Session | Mobile, Alabama
Welcome to the new home for Fleeting Moments Photography and my blog! This new site has been in the works for a while and I’m so excited to finally share it with you. A few tweaks are still in the works, but for the most part the site is ready for it’s big debut.
In honor of the introduction of my new website, I thought I’d share a little something new photography-wise with everyone. I’ve been wanting to get into studio lighting for a while and I finally purchased my first studio backdrop. My cousin, Cassie, is an artist and is my go-to model when I want to try new things. She was kind enough to sit for some portraits last month and I was absolutely thrilled with how these turned out. The gray backdrop gives a modern feel to the otherwise traditional setup and is so, so versatile. I think it will be perfect for clients that need an updated head shot for their social media profiles.
As I mentioned above, Cassie is an artist and is in her sophomore year at The University of South Alabama. She was recently accepted into the Graphic Design program there and plans to minor in Ceramics. In return for her being such a patient model, I offered to photograph some of her ceramics pieces for her digital portfolio. I am absolutely in awe of her talents and love the colors in these beautiful pieces. I might have to borrow those bowls for a food shoot sometime! Aren’t they gorgeous?!
