A Pillars of Mobile Bridal Session
I have been sitting on these bridal portraits for over a month! Let me tell you, that feels like FOREVER! When Debby selected The Pillars of Mobile for her wedding venue, I was so excited. It is one of my favorite wedding venues to shoot at in Mobile, Alabama! From the antique tile floors, to the neutral colored walls and the blue velvet vintage chairs…it’s a dream every single time. Spending the day there with my sweet friend and fellow wedding photographer, Debby, was just too much fun!
Every wedding photographer bride needs a bridal session. Seriously. As photographers we LOVE photographs and we also know how fast wedding days fly by. The bridal session is the perfect opportunity to truly savor the moment of being a bride. It’s also the best way to find out if there are any last minute adjustments that need to be made to your ensemble ahead of wedding day!
We happened to schedule Debby’s bridal session for her birthday so of course we celebrated with cupcakes and Prosecco! We also were able to incorporate Debby’s adorable pup, Elliot, into her bridal session. Elliot is one dog that knows how to work the camera! I still cannot believe how good he was at posing (even though we did have to keep bribing him with treats)! Haha!
Debby, words cannot express how honored I feel that you chose me to be your wedding photographer! Thank you for trusting me with your memories!
Debby’s gorgeous ring was designed by Lou’s Jewelry and was even featured in the recent issue of Mobile Bay Bride Magazine! Check out the story of this gorgeous design, which includes diamonds passed down to Debby from her family.
Like many brides, Debby selected two pairs of shoes for her wedding day. The sparkly Kate Spade Keds are a favorite of mine!
I think Elliot thought this session was all about him. He was so full of smiles!
I LOVED Debby’s gorgeous bouquet and Elliot’s floral wreath! Both were designed by Sarah Beth’s Florist.
How sweet are these custom earrings?!
As much as I love the color portraits, these black and white shots are some of my favorites of the day!
Behind the scenes! Debby’s sweet mama, Sandy, was on hand to help us the day of the session. Also, a huge thank you to Heather Pfefferkorn, of The Pillars, for her hospitality the day of this session!
Debby told me I had to get in a photo with her, so of course we had to do a selfie using the mirror!
