A Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Wedding

Trying to sum up the joy and fun of this wedding day is no easy task. Both families are so special and it is always an honor to work with a family on more than one wedding day. I first met Catherine at her sister’s wedding in 2021. Like her sister, Catherine is one of those people that you meet and immediately feel like you’ve known for life.

To say I was excited to be reunited with this sweet family for another wedding is a major understatement! I was also delighted that Catherine’s groom, Daniel, is the son of one of my friends from church. What a blessing it was to witness these two wonderful families coming together on this wedding day!

Catherine’s parents have been on a wedding marathon for the past few years. Their three daughters were all engaged and married over the last three years: Carrie in May 2021, Callie in December 2021 (still sad I had a booking conflict on her date!) and, finally, Catherine in 2023! I told them they deserve a vacation after all that planning and they assured me that they were taking one!

Catherine and Daniel actually met at a wedding at the Ezell House, so it was the perfect choice for their wedding reception, following a beautiful Nuptial Mass at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (where Catherine’s parents were married).

One of my favorite moments of the wedding day, was the second line from the ceremony to the reception. Everyone was so full of JOY and it was a great start to their late night reception.

Catherine and Daniel, it was an honor to preserve these memories for you! I hope these photographs make you feel like you’re reliving all these moments.
