A Bragg-Mitchell Mansion Portrait Session
I have known Camille’s mom for a couple of years now, but I first met Camille when she became the youth representative on the parish council at our church. I remember the first time she told me she was hoping to be an Azalea Trail Maid. She was so excited about the whole process! I said a prayer that her wish of being chosen for the 2023-2024 court would come true.
I was so happy for Camille when I found out she was chosen to represent McGill-Toolen Catholic High School as an Azalea Trail Maid. When her mom asked me to take portraits for her, I was delighted. I knew this would be a fun session! I loved that Camille’s mom asked to include the whole family in a few of the photos. Camille’s younger sister wore her First Communion dress, which was made by her grandmother. Having two beautiful dresses in one photoshoot was a treat!
The Bragg-Mitchell mansion is the perfect setting for Azalea Trail Maid portraits! It just fits so perfectly with the aesthetic of these beautiful dresses. Camille’s dress was designed by the talented Anna Marie Phelps, who has made many Azalea Trail Maid dresses over the years. I need to ask her some time if she has a count of how many she has made in total!
