A Sacred Heart Chapel Wedding

I LOVE fall weddings! The weather in October is usually especially perfect and it was just so on Audrey and Spencer’s wedding day. We had the perfect amount of bay breeze and it wasn’t too hot, or too cold. It’s days like this that I wonder how anyone could live anywhere else other than here.

Audrey and Spencer are from Memphis so most of their families and friends traveled to Point Clear for their wedding weekend. They definitely got to experience the best of the bay, with an afternoon ceremony at Sacred Heart Chapel and an evening reception at Julep Point at the Grand Hotel. The reception was timed to begin with the sunset and everyone enjoyed a spectacular Mobile Bay sunset during cocktail hour.

Before the wedding, Audrey and Spencer shared that they really wanted to get photos with their sweet pup, Tucker. It’s always tricky to time portraits with pets on a wedding day, but Audrey reached out to a local pet sitting company, Happy Hound, who helped out by bringing Tucker to the church right at portrait time. I had previously met Tucker at Audrey and Spencer’s engagement session. I was not surprised he posed for portraits like a pro!

This wedding kicks off my fall season, but I already feel like we’re at the end of the year! I know these last months of 2023 will fly by in the blink of an eye, but I’m going to soak up the autumnal vibes while I can!
