A Spring Hill College Engagement
We’ve had the most gorgeous spring weather here in Mobile. I never tire of portrait sessions on the Avenue of the Oaks this time of year. In fact, I’ve had several sessions at this location in the last two weeks and they’ve all been so much fun! I hope to blog some of my senior portrait sessions soon, but for now I want to introduce you to one of my sweet 2024 couples.
I first met Mary Beth at her brother’s wedding a few years ago. I absolutely LOVE working with the same family over multiple weddings. It is so very special to get to know them over several seasons. When Mary Beth, her mom and I were chatting on the phone during her bridal consultation, it felt like we were just long-time friends catching up with each other.
As we were planning their engagement session, Mary Beth mentioned that Steve wasn’t super familiar with Mobile, so I suggested we spend some time at Spring Hill College since that is where their wedding will be later this year. I love weddings at St. Joseph Chapel, but the time constraints of a wedding day often mean we can’t hit all my favorite spots during bride and groom portrait time. It’s fabulous to have plenty of time during an engagement session to really take our time getting portraits at both ends of campus.
Mary Beth and Steve are so easy-going. They also exude joy! I loved every minute of my time with them and was truly sad to see this session end. The Golden Hour glow was divine!
