A St. Joseph Chapel Wedding
Fall isn’t quite here yet in Mobile, Alabama. You just never know what the weather will bring in September. It could be mild or quite tropical. The day of Mary Beth and Steven’s wedding, the weather was perfectly in between the deep summer heat and the crisp weather of fall. I was thankful the tropical weather we recently experienced got out of the way before this wedding weekend!
A few weeks before Mary Beth and Steven’s wedding, I met up with Mary Beth and her mom for a bridal portrait session. It was so much fun getting to take portraits at Mary Beth’s great-aunt’s home. This happened to be the same location where her mother had her bridal portraits taken before her wedding. I look forward to sharing some of those photos in a blog post soon!
Mary Beth and Steven are such a sweet couple! Mary Beth’s parents were also married at St. Joseph Chapel, so this location was a sentimental one for their family. Since Mary Beth and Steven did not share a First Look prior to the ceremony, we were able to take all their bride and groom portraits during Golden Hour. I love taking photos in front of St. Joseph Chapel during this time of the day. It’s such a dream!
After a beautiful Nuptial Mass, we headed back downtown for the reception. Mary Beth has a big extended family and it was so wonderful having plenty of space in the ballroom at the Riverview Hotel for dinner, mingling and dancing.
