A St. Joan of Arc Catholic Wedding

It’s hard to believe it was over a year and a half ago that I photographed Aaron proposing to Lauren at The Fairhope Pier! It’s even harder to believe that Lauren has been part of my team since 2021! She knew Regina from Spring Hill College and asked Regina how she started working with me.

I have always built my team via word-0f-mouth references and I have always trusted that the Holy Spirit would bring the right people to me at the right time. I invited Lauren to assist on Rachel and William’s wedding and she’s been a key part of my wedding day team ever since!

Lauren and Aaron are such an easy-going couple. Even when there was a last minute change in the priest officiating their wedding and our portrait location was swarming with people taking prom photos, they didn’t seem stressed. They trusted all would work out and it did!

I always love photographing weddings at St. Joan of Arc. When Lauren told me they were trying to choose a church that would suit their smaller guest list, I knew this would be the perfect church for their day. I was so excited when they ended up booking it for their wedding. Best of all, our friend Tori from Bella Victoria Events was there throughout the day to help keep things running smoothly.

At the end of the reception, one of Aaron’s sisters told me that they were so excited to welcome Lauren into their family. “We love her,” she exclaimed. And I was like, yes, y’all just got an awesome sister added to your family because after five years of working together, I know what a sweet and kind person Lauren is. Cheers to the newly Mr. and Mrs. Foster!
