Beach Portrait Session | Dauphin Island, AL
Summer is winding down, but now is the time that I love to go down to Dauphin Island for some beach portrait sessions. With school starting back up and the tourist season coming to a close, the island is becoming a bit quieter and a bit less crowded, meaning you get the beach practically to yourself for portrait sessions. Seriously, what more could a photographer ask for???
I absolutely LOVE when couples select a location that is meaningful to them for their pictures. Rachel and Brandon both love the outdoors and Brandon grew up not far from the island, so this was a natural choice for their portrait location. I could tell they both felt so at home and so comfortable among the sea grass and along the shore. When I told them they could lose their shoes for the second half of the session, they smiled and said they were more comfortable going barefoot anyway. 🙂
I love that Rachel and Brandon both had a humble and quiet confidence that just shined in front of the camera and that they were game for anything. It was an overcast day, but we still had gorgeous light and I made sure to use up every ounce of it! Enjoy the preview of this sweet session and be sure to leave these two some love in the comments below!
