A Fairhope Pier Engagement Session
The end of summer and beginning of fall is always my favorite time of year. The excitement for cooler weather and fall weddings has me itching to get outdoors for portrait sessions! The blog has been a bit quieter over the summer because I have been photographing so many things that I can’t share just yet. There’s been a lot of commercial and editorial work going on behind the scenes!
The weather was pure perfection the day I met up with Lindsey and Bryant in downtown Fairhope. Lindsey told me that she and Bryant had their second date near the water, so making sure to incorporate some bayside photos was a big priority for this session. This was my first time to meet Lindsey and Bryant in person, but I already felt like I knew Lindsey from our consultation phone call. Lindsey’s grandmother was actually one of my teachers back in the day and I know several people in her family. Y’all, it’s connections like this that make my job so much fun!
As we walked around downtown, we talked about wedding day plans. I’m looking forward to returning to St. Dominic Catholic Church for Lindsey and Bryant’s big day. I love that Lindsey chose this church for her wedding day because it is special to her and her family. At the end of the session, we sent Bryant to the car ahead of Lindsey so that she could show me photos of her dress. As she scrolled through the photos, I could already picture her walking down the aisle in my mind. Y’all, June 2024 will be here before we know it!
We squeezed out every bit of light on this session. I was sad to see it come to an end because it was just one of those perfect days! Enjoy my favorites of Lindsey and Bryant!
