Looking Back on the Past Year

This has been the year of wonderful fleeting moments. I began my journey in wedding photography. I got to be a second shooter for two of my cousins’ weddings. I took on a large job I never thought I’d be able to do. I expanded my food photography work with editorial assignments and I even got to photograph a celebrity chef (still pinching myself over that one!). Best of all, I got to capture special fleeting moments for many families.

As I sit here, on the last day of 2015, I think back to January and the goals I wrote in my photography journal at the first Pursuit Community meeting I attended. To my surprise, I have a lot of check marks next to the goals I listed at the start of this year. At the time I wrote them, they seemed unreachable and now I find myself wanting to write even more goals for next year. As they say, if you can dream it, you can do it!

God has led me down this photography path and it has been an amazing journey. To my clients and all who have supported my photography in 2015 (and in years past), THANK YOU!
