A St. Francis at the Point Wedding

This is the year of St. Francis at the Point weddings on my calendar! I was at this church for weddings in June and July and the very next wedding on my calendar will be at this same church. It’s funny how things work out like that sometimes! I love photographing weddings at this church though, so I was happy to be back again so soon.

When I arrived at Jubilee Suites to start photography coverage for the day, Abby’s beauty squad was just finishing up her hair and makeup. I told her she had the most perfect weather for her wedding day. The temperature outside felt perfectly fall, not too hot and not too cold. There was a slight breeze and the sky was picture perfect blue. I knew that we were likely going to be in for some dreamy Golden Hour light later in the day and I was right! Just wait until you see the glow in Abby and Aaron’s bride and groom portraits! Such a dream!

Abby’s two nieces were in the wedding party and we all kept marveling at how much they look like they could all be sisters! I could tell that both girls, along with Abby’s nephew (who was the ring bearer), hold a special place in her heart. While I was taking photos of them with Abby, I was reminded of being a flower girl for several of my aunts when they were married. I remember being both excited about my flower girl dress and nervous about walking down the aisle!

Fall is my favorite season of the year and I was so excited that it actually felt like fall on this wedding day. After a summer of sweltering heat, it’s nice to finish up a reception and not be drenched from the summer humidity. As guests made their way outside for the grand exit, the DJ played one last song. Abby grabbed Aaron’s hand and told me they needed one last dance. It was the sweetest impromptu moment! I could tell they were soaking in the final moments of their beautiful day.
