A Steelwood Chapel Wedding
I love the little white chapel at Steelwood Country Club and it is the perfect setting for a small, intimate wedding ceremony. Lily and Chad were originally planning on a destination wedding. But with all the craziness of the last year, they decided to plan an intimate celebration closer to home in Loxley, Alabama.
Lily grew up enjoying the summers at Steelwood Country Club with her best friend, Jill. When they were young girls, Lily always imagined that she’d one day get married in the tiny chapel that is nestled in the heart of this beautiful property. Last Saturday this dream came to life!
To say this day was perfect would be a major understatement! Every detail from the flowers, to the sweetest ever daddy-daughter First Look, and the candlelight dinner reception was beautiful. Victoria Austin Designs knocked it out of the park!
It wasn’t until I started working on the timeline for Lily and Chad’s wedding that I realized Chad’s mom is Jane of Southern Calligraphy! Many of my brides have had Jane’s lovely calligraphy be part of their wedding days. I was so excited to see what she would create for her own son’s wedding and it did not disappoint! Tori, with Victoria Austin Designs, and I had so much fun styling the invitation flatlays together.
This day was seriously a dream from beginning to end, but what I love most was that it felt like Lily and Chad had time to savor their day and truly enjoy sharing all the moments with those that are closest to them. Cheers to the newly Mr. and Mrs. Dolan!
Lily was so excited about her pedicure so I had to figure out a way to incorporate it into a photo!
