A Point Clear Autumn Engagement

It’s engagement session season and my couples are truly spoiling me with their ideas on where to take engagement portraits! Margaret and Pat were in town from Birmingham, so we met up at Margaret’s family’s bay house in Point Clear. I have shot at many properties in this area over the years. It’s always fun to see what awaits at the end of one of the tree-lined driveways nestled on the edge of Mobile Bay!

We had the most gorgeous weather for Margaret and Pat’s engagement shoot! The light was sparkling through the moss-covered oak trees and beaming off the brackish bay water. I LOVED that we were able to incorporate their sweet pup, Winnie, into their portraits! I don’t know that I’ve ever met a more well-behaved puppy!

Both Margaret and Pat told me they aren’t big picture people, but they could have had me fooled because they were so natural in front of the camera. I loved capturing their joyful personalities! I can’t wait to meet up with them again in summer 2022 for their wedding at Sacred Heart Chapel!
