A St. Joseph Chapel Wedding

Katy and Mikey’s wedding day was so perfect that it nearly left me speechless. We had wonderful venues, perfect weather, a joyful couple and a great team of vendors. You could tell that everyone was genuinely enjoying spending the day together celebrating this wonderful couple.

Unlike most of my brides, Katy has had the experience of working alongside me on wedding days. A few years ago she was my assistant on a few weddings – I even remember her telling me about Mikey for the first time and I remember her saying she knew they would get married one day. That memory was vivid in my mind as I watched her walk down the aisle on Saturday evening.

I still can’t believe how perfect the weather was on this December day. It was super foggy outside when I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn for getting ready photos. I LOVE the suites at this hotel. They have tons of windows, which makes for great natural light photos. I also love the Delta Room, which is the perfect getting ready space for bridesmaids.

The fog lifted by the time we headed to Spring Hill College and, to my surprise, the sun came out just enough to give us some dreamy golden glow! I am warning you now that there is a massive overshare of bride and groom portraits in this post because I have so many favorites!

That’s a Wrap on 2022

It is so amazing to me that we are already at the end of another year! This year marks 10 years of my photography business, which truly blows my mind. I’ve photographed weddings for eight of those 10 years and I am so very thankful to all those couples who trust me with preserving the memories of their wedding. It truly is an honor!
