A Steelwood Country Club Wedding
I’ve photographed a few weddings at Steelwood Country Club, but this was my first time to photograph a ceremony down by the lake. It was such a beautiful setting and so convenient to have everything so close together! Good logistics certainly make for a low-stress wedding day!
This was my second time to get to work with Paige’s sweet family! I previously photographed her sister’s wedding in 2021! I always love getting to work with the same family over multiple weddings and 2023 seems to be the year of sibling weddings! Stay tuned for more familiar faces on the blog this spring season!
Paige chose my favorite shade of blue as one of her wedding colors. I loved that the bridesmaid dresses perfectly matched the blue hydrangeas in the bouquets. For a February wedding, this day was quite warm, which is ironic because Paige’s sister, who got married in December, also had super warm weather for her wedding day. Around here, you just never know if winter will actually feel like winter or not!
Since Paige and Jackson didn’t see each other before the ceremony, it meant we were taking all their portraits during Golden Hour. The sunset glow was beyond beautiful just as we finished up their bride and groom portraits. Best of all, there was just enough of that light left while they shared their first dances. I love when the timing works out this way, especially when the reception is outdoors!
Paige and Jackson, thank you for such a fun wedding day and cheers to many happy years together!
