A Fort Conde Inn Engagement

Most of the time I photograph engagement sessions for my couples months before their wedding day. But every once in a while it’s difficult to make our schedules align until much closer to the wedding date. Amelia and Jacob are getting married this weekend! We met up for this engagement session less than two weeks ahead of the big day.

I always love getting to know my couples before the wedding day. There truly was something extra special about knowing we were so close to the big day when we took these photos. I could feel how excited Amelia and Jacob are! It was also nice to already know there was zero rain in the forecast for wedding weekend.

We met up at Fort Conde Inn, where Amelia and Jacob will have their wedding reception. I love doing engagement portraits at a couple’s wedding venue. The inn was looking particularly beautiful on this day and I can only imagine how amazing it will look when it’s all set up for the wedding reception!
