A Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Wedding

We kicked off the spring season with three weddings three Saturdays in a row and this was an awesome wedding to close out that marathon! We headed to our car just as the clock struck midnight. As tired as we were, my team and I agreed it had been a fun day from beginning to end.

I first met Rebecca years ago and I know so many members of her extended family. I’ve also photographed her family more than one time, so it was a day full of familiar faces. To say I was excited when she called to ask me to be her wedding photographer is an understatement! As Rebecca described her vision for her day, I could envision how classy it would be. I always love receptions at The Battle House Hotel. Their team is phenomenal and helps everything flow smoothly.

Rebecca and David chose not to share a First Look prior to the ceremony. I just knew David was going to be full of emotion when Rebecca walked down the aisle and he was. It was the sweetest moment! I also loved how excited Rebecca’s niece and nephew were as they stood with her mom for the bride’s procession. They were adorable!

After a beautiful Nuptial Mass, celebrated by Rebecca’s cousin, Fr. Travis, we all headed to the Battle House for portraits and the reception. I had no idea how many of my past couples would be at this reception! For three weddings in a row I found myself running into some of my former couples. It is so lovely to see how their families have grown since I documented their wedding days. Truly, the couples are what make this job such a JOY! Cheers to the newly Mr. and Mrs. Wilson!
