A Botanical Gardens Engagement | Mobile, AL

Jessica and Justin are such a joyful couple. The first time I talked to Jessica on the phone I could tell we were going to have so much fun working together. When I finally met up in person for their engagement session, I felt like we already knew each other because they both have such warm and friendly personalities.

Jessica told me she wanted a natural, rustic setting for their session, so we decided to shoot in the Longleaf forest at The Mobile Botanical Gardens. This time of year the golden hour light is extra creamy and soft at this location. I love the tones of the wild grasses when they go dormant for the winter. They provide such a perfect backdrop!

I’m so glad we were able to squeeze this session in while these two were in town for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and I’m looking forward to working with them again when I photograph their wedding in October 2017. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
