"Elizabeth is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Her style of coaching is very easy to follow making her pictures look so natural. I love her use of natural light. Her style is classic and timeless, which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. Twenty years in the future, I am confident I will still love my pictures as much as I do today."
"Elizabeth is the most genuine person you will ever meet! The love she has for her job is so apparent not only in her beautiful photos but also in the warm and welcoming atmosphere she creates during her shoots. My husband and I do not love taking photos, however Elizabeth made us feel so comfortable and calm in front of the camera. Our wedding and engagement photos exceeded my expectations. Not only is her work wonderful but her calming positive attitude is what every bride needs on her wedding day. I could not recommend her enough! She is truly the best!"

"Elizabeth is the best choice in my opinion! She took time to get to know Justin and myself to where we felt like friends, which made posing for pictures less awkward. She is extremely kind and not shy to tell you how to pose/stand, which was very helpful for me! Elizabeth's photography is very natural. Overall, I could not have imagined working with a better photographer, because in my experience she is the best!!

February 21, 2018
Oh February! This is a month that can be quite contrary on the Gulf Coast. One day it’s 70 degrees (or 80!) and the next it’s windy, rainy and in the 40s. Of all the months in the year, I think this one is the least predictable, which is somewhat concerning to all of us Alabama Gulf Coast wedding photographers. We hold our breath, waiting to see what the forecast will bring from one week to the next. I think that Katie and Trent must be living life right because they not only got a beautiful, sunny day for their wedding, but they also got clear skies and warm temps. Talk about the best of both worlds!
I first talked to Katie about her wedding one year ago and I knew when she told me of her vision for her day that it would be beautiful. All the planning by the amazing vendors that were part of this wedding made the whole day flow so smoothly. Every detail was just perfect! Katie has such an elegant and classic Southern style. From her blue Tori Burch flats, to her custom velvet ring box, and her exquisite stationary suite, I was in bridal detail heaven! And don’t even get me started on her gorgeous gown! It was perfection!
As we made our way to the First Look location, Katie told me how excited she was to see Trent. I love that First Looks allow the bride and groom to spend most of their wedding day together instead of apart. When Trent turned around and saw Katie for the first time, he was literally speechless, but his smile showed all the happiness in his heart. I think there were even a few tears. It was the most beautiful moment and one of the sweetest First Looks I’ve photographed.
Narrowing down my favorites for this post was so hard because when you have a venue as beautiful as The Grand Hotel, you just have so many wonderful options (even when the property is undergoing a major renovation!). We had to walk quickly around the property to hit all the spots we wanted to shoot in, but we did it! Katie and Trent, thank you for having me be part of your wedding day! I am so thankful to have worked with y’all and know you have many years of happiness ahead of you!
I pretty much died of happiness when I saw the wax seals for the invitations. Officially obsessed.
Katie wore this gorgeous gold panda ring that belongs to her mom. The ring has special sentimental meaning for Katie and the moment her mom slipped it on her finger for her wedding day was such a beautiful moment to witness.
And Trent gets the award for the coolest bow-tie ever!
