"Elizabeth is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Her style of coaching is very easy to follow making her pictures look so natural. I love her use of natural light. Her style is classic and timeless, which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. Twenty years in the future, I am confident I will still love my pictures as much as I do today."
"Elizabeth is the most genuine person you will ever meet! The love she has for her job is so apparent not only in her beautiful photos but also in the warm and welcoming atmosphere she creates during her shoots. My husband and I do not love taking photos, however Elizabeth made us feel so comfortable and calm in front of the camera. Our wedding and engagement photos exceeded my expectations. Not only is her work wonderful but her calming positive attitude is what every bride needs on her wedding day. I could not recommend her enough! She is truly the best!"

"Elizabeth is the best choice in my opinion! She took time to get to know Justin and myself to where we felt like friends, which made posing for pictures less awkward. She is extremely kind and not shy to tell you how to pose/stand, which was very helpful for me! Elizabeth's photography is very natural. Overall, I could not have imagined working with a better photographer, because in my experience she is the best!!

June 5, 2019
Can you believe it’s already June?! This wedding marks the halfway point in my 2019 calendar, which absolutely blows my mind! How has this time flown by so fast?! I was so excited for this first of three June weddings on my calendar because I got to shoot at two venues I’d never been to before. Natalie and Wilson chose to get married at St. James Episcopal Church, where Wilson’s family have been members for years. I absolutely loved visiting this church. It the perfect setting for a wedding and the music that filled the church for the ceremony was equally as beautiful. I could have listened to those musicians all day!
Before the ceremony, Natalie and her girls spent the morning getting ready at Emma’s Bay House. I’d also never been to this venue before, despite passing it nearly every time I shoot in Fairhope. This house was the perfect getting ready and portrait location! When rain started to fall right in the middle of bride and groom portrait time, I wasn’t worried because I knew that the deep porch was going to allow us to still take natural light portraits outside. You can’t even tell it was raining in most of the photos!
Natalie chose my favorite shade of blue for the bridesmaid dresses! It perfectly complimented the gorgeous bouquets that her girls carried. I loved the pops of color from the coral and peach colored blooms! I’m a girl who loves flowers (even though I’m also allergic to many of them), so I always get giddy about photographing beautiful bouquets. I was also obsessed with the floral display that accented the cake table at the reception! It’s a new favorite for sure!
Natalie and Wilson met each other at a wedding. She was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsman. Wilson’s mom told me that Natalie and Wilson danced the night away with one another the night that they met. It was a love at first sight moment. All their friends knew they were witnessing something magical. I smiled as I watched Wilson twirl Natalie around the dance floor at their own wedding reception on Saturday night. These two are now dance partners for life. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith!
This next photo reminds me of a portrait that was taken of my parents on their wedding day. It has always been my mom’s favorite photo from their wedding and still sits in a frame on their dresser. When Wilson’s mom asked me if I could take a portrait like this to match photos she has framed from her other two children’s weddings, I couldn’t help but think of my parents and the “doorway photo” from their wedding day.
They say rain on a wedding day is a sign of a blessing from above. We had jus the lightest drizzle after the ceremony, which cooled things off a bit.
I am obsessed with this cake table display!
