A Sacred Heart Chapel Catholic Wedding
Photographing weddings for families I know is such a JOY! I have known Madeleine’s mom, Stephanie, for quite a while. We first met when Stephanie was working with Danny Lipford. She and I had so much fun working together on photoshoots for Today’s Homeowner. I’ll never forget us powering through the rain on a shoot in the fall of 2020 when the pandemic was still very much on everyone’s minds. That day was so much fun, despite the stress of the world around us.
When I booked Madeleine and George’s wedding, I remember telling Regina (my practical twin and second photographer) about the wedding and was excited to learn that she already knew Madeleine and George from high school. To say we were both looking forward to this wedding is an understatement!
Every bride who gets married at Sacred Heart Chapel wants a blue sky day and that’s exactly what we had the day of this wedding. It was absolutely GORGEOUS! The Spanish Moss was glistening with the most dreamy light and the breeze off the bay was just the right amount to keep most of the bugs away. Best of all, everyone was just so relaxed and full of joy. The day was pure perfection from beginning to end! It was the best way to kick off the summer season!
