"Elizabeth is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Her style of coaching is very easy to follow making her pictures look so natural. I love her use of natural light. Her style is classic and timeless, which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. Twenty years in the future, I am confident I will still love my pictures as much as I do today."
"Elizabeth is the most genuine person you will ever meet! The love she has for her job is so apparent not only in her beautiful photos but also in the warm and welcoming atmosphere she creates during her shoots. My husband and I do not love taking photos, however Elizabeth made us feel so comfortable and calm in front of the camera. Our wedding and engagement photos exceeded my expectations. Not only is her work wonderful but her calming positive attitude is what every bride needs on her wedding day. I could not recommend her enough! She is truly the best!"

"Elizabeth is the best choice in my opinion! She took time to get to know Justin and myself to where we felt like friends, which made posing for pictures less awkward. She is extremely kind and not shy to tell you how to pose/stand, which was very helpful for me! Elizabeth's photography is very natural. Overall, I could not have imagined working with a better photographer, because in my experience she is the best!!

Katie and Dylan are getting married two weeks from tomorrow! We attempted scheduling their engagement session twice before it actually worked out. Their original session date was scheduled for the spring, so of course we had to postpone due to the pandemic. The second session date was scheduled for the week after Hurricane Sally hit the Gulf Coast. Once again we had to postpone. It was looking like we were never going to get this session in, but it turns out the third time was a charm! I met up with Katie and Dylan last Sunday at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear Alabama. After months of knowing these two only by their voices, it was so nice to finally meet them in person!
I love getting to know my couples ahead of their big day, but the engagement session is also a great opportunity for my couples to get comfortable with being photographed. Let’s be honest, most of us don’t get photographed on a regular basis. On top of that, being in front of the camera can be a bit nerve-wrecking. The engagement session is the warm up for wedding day and, best of all, I’ve found that doing an engagement session makes things flow smoother on wedding day because my couples know exactly what to expect. It also makes us all feel like we’re old friends when wedding day rolls around.
I almost always photograph engagement sessions two hours before sunset because I love that Golden Hour glow. However, Katie and Dylan were in town for only two days. On one of those days I had a wedding. In the end, we decided that Sunday morning was our only option to squeeze this shoot in ahead of the big day and it worked out perfectly!
