A Downtown Mobile Engagement Session

I cannot believe in just a few short years that Myrna went from being an Azalea Trail Maid in front of my camera, to a bride-to-be in front of my camera! Back on that summer day in 2021, we were nearly passing out from the heat. This day couldn’t have been more different from that one. The temperature outside was actually the first day of the season that didn’t feel like summer. The sunset light was perfect!

Myrna and her family are the absolute sweetest, so I had no doubts that her fiancé would be too. After just a few minutes of talking with them at the start of their session, I felt like I’d known Beau for nearly as long as I’d known Myrna. They’re one of those couples that is just easy to be around.

We met up in Cathedral Square, which is where they will exchange vows next year. We then wandered the streets of downtown Mobile, stopping in Bienville Square before heading to a spot with rooftop views. I always love doing sessions downtown because there are so many options between the buildings and the beautiful oak trees.

This session definitely got me ready to head into fall wedding season!
